Variant Logistics is a single source logistics provider serving the transportation related needs of some the most highly regarded companies in the world. While working for asset based logistics companies, the founders of Variant Logistics realized that these companies often sacrifice the best interests of their clients in favor of the interests of their assets.
Too often logistics companies demand that the assets of the company be utilized to maximum capacity when the most efficient solution for a client requires them to use better positioned assets of other companies. As a result, the idea of a non-asset based logistics company with a few “strategic” assets where the industry has historically lacked resources was formed in 1998.
